Sarah Shalf Elected as 2013-14 Technology Section Secretary

At our annual meeting on June 12, 2013, we elecected Sarah Shalf as Secretary of the Section for 2013-14. Each year, the Secretary’s position is the only one that is voted on because the prior year’s Secretary becomes Vice Chair and the prior year’s Vice Chair becomes Chair of the section.

Sarah is an Administrative Professor of Law at Emory Law, where she is also Director of the Externship Program and Co-Director of the Professionalism Program. Sarah has been an active member of the Technology Section’s Executive Committee, where she has helped put together many of this year’s programs, including the Technology Law Institute, the January 2013 meeting on the Apple-Samsung patent fight and the Annual Meeting program on Emory and Georgia Tech’s TI:GER Program. The Committee congratulates Sarah on her new position.
