Event: Technology, Social, and Legal issues for the Sharing Economy

The Technology Law Section hosted a presentation from Bakari Brock, Director of Business Development from Lyft on Technology, Social, and Legal issues for the Sharing Economy. Brock is an Atlanta native and Harvard law graduate. Following his work as an IP litigation associate in Atlanta, he worked as in-house counsel for Google and YouTube. He then served as one of the key in-house legal counsel for social media giant Twitter, Inc. Today, Mr. Brock serves as the director of business development for Lyft, one of the world’s leading ride-sharing services.
