The Privacy & Technology Section of the Georgia State Bar (PTS) is happy to host its 33rd Privacy & Technology Law Institute (PTLI). The full-day event will include a wide range of presentations from privacy, security, and technology practitioners. Attendees represented a broad spectrum of industries such as computer hardware and software, fintech, healthcare, healthcare IT, media, financial services, insurance, and telecom services and hardware.
This year’s PTLI will feature a morning keynote by Professor Daniel Solove, a nationally-recognized legal expert, author, and speaker on privacy. Peter Kinsella, partner at Perkins Coie and well-regarded expert in technology transactions, will give an afternoon keynote. Other topics for this year’s exciting Institute include GDPR, blockchain implementation risks, cyber crime, the new California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), negotiating and drafting privacy and security clauses, and other timely topics.
