Over recent years companies have increased their use of tracking technologies to measure user behavior and improve user experiences. However, this has resulted in an increased number of lawsuits surrounding digital privacy risks stemming from tracking technologies. Join the Privacy & Technology Law Section virtually on July 26, 2023 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. for a CLE event with privacy attorneys discussing the current advertising technology landscape, including the growing trend of consumer class action lawsuits regarding alleged violations of the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA). This program will also explore the growing number of state privacy statutes that allow consumers the right to opt out of  targeted advertising.
