Please join the Privacy & Technology Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia for a virtual CLE on January 24, 2022, from 12 - 1 p.m. on Current Considerations for Restrictive Covenants (including Nondisclosure Agreements and Noncompete Agreements) in Georgia – especially in a Technology context.
Georgia law on restrictive covenants is different from that of many other states. The application of Georgia law on restrictive covenants is not always as stipulated by contract and is not always intuitive. The Georgia Legislature enacted a law on Restrictive Covenants in 2011. Some cases brought under that Act have made their way through the State’s appellate courts. Come learn about cases that have been decided under that Act and the current law in Georgia on Nondisclosure Agreements and Noncompete Agreements generally.
Our Speaker will be Mari L. Myer, founder of The Myer Law Firm, of Decatur, GA. Mari practices in the area of Employment law and Restrictive Covenants. She is a former Chair of the Technology Law Section.
One hour of general CLE credit will be given (pending approval).
