With the State Bar’s Access to Justice Committee, TLS is co-sponsoring the “Access to Justice Hackathon Project” — a two day event where programmers compete to provide technology solutions to law-related nonprofits serving the poor and otherwise challenged.
There are at least 12 participating justice programs, including:
- Georgia Legal Services Program
- Atlanta Legal Aid Society
- Georgia Law Center for the Homeless
- Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation
- Pro Bono Partnership
The Hackathon is a 2-day event, scheduled to take place on September 12 & 13.
Do you know any programmers who may want to participate? Let them know!
We are also looking for companies and individuals to sponsor the event. If your law firm, clients or business would like to contribute programmers or sponsor this event, please contact Mike Breslin at mbreslin@ktslaw.com or register online.
