The International Law Section is co-sponsoring a conversation with Judge Navanethem Pillay. Judge Pillay is the former U.N. High Commissioner of Human Rights, previously serving as a judge on the International Criminal Court and on the international Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

DESCRIPTION

We are pleased to announce that Navenethem Pillay will be visiting Atlanta from South Africa! Judge Pillay was the UN High Commissioner of Human Rights prior to the current holder of the worldwide post. She served previously as a judge on the International Criminal Court and earlier on the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Join The Center for a reception and discussion at the Center for Civil and Human Rights, moderated by Professor Natsu Saito of Georgia State University College of Law. Sponsored by Jones Day, The Georgia State Bar International Section, and the United Nations of Atlanta.
